The description

The Piedirosso vinified in pureness is a medium body wine, neat and characterized by a striking aromatic personality.

The Mustilli family cultivated the Piedirosso grapes since the ’70 and produces a wine extremely appreciated, especially in those occasions requiring a medium-structure wine, pleasantly fruity  and easily matched.

Bright ruby red with purple hints, fairly intense.

Bouquet shows an intense, persistent, delicate, fruity with notes of ripe red fruit, officinal plants, lavender, sage and thyme.

At taste is dry, savory, fairly tannic, good structured, delicate. Balanced and intense with dried fruit tones.
 

Food matches

It goes best with meat sauces on pasta as well as rice timbales and meatloaves.Ideal with fish soups.
