The description

This bottle, the most recent in the Crapolla Abbey, owes its name to an element of the place unknown to most, Poizzo is a land wind typical of the gullies of the Lattari Mountains that descends towards Vico Equense created by the contrast of temperatures, also responsible for the terroir.
The winery is located in Vico Equense, in the province of Naples (Campania)
Sandy loam soil, with pumice and lapilli, altitude 300 meters above sea level.
Exposure of vines in rows oriented east-west on different plains
Harvested first ten days of October.

Type of winemaking
Low temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks, stabling of the wine in tanks for 4-5 months

Organoleptic characteristics
The glass, straw yellow with initial greenish reflections, acquires from on the nose immediately its distinctive aromatic trait linked to the Moscato grape grown on site. This does not take away freshness, but enhances the pleasant taste of this atypical white, making Poizzo an accomplice of even the latest generation aperitifs, where sweet and sour, spicy and balsamic have become an international trend.

Food matches

Fish aperitifs, savory dishes. Softness and freshness with a touch of this Poizzo, suitable to drink as an opening wine.
